Brackets, frames, hand-rails, plinths and one-off builds. Bring a drawing or a back-of-an-envelope sketch. The workshop in Gravesend is set up for one-off fabrication, with the mobile kit ready when the job has to happen on site.
Scope scales with the project, but these four are the spine of any custom fabrication engagement with MMA Welding.
One-off brackets, machine plinths, lifting eyes and the small fabricated work that needs to be exactly right.
Internal and external hand-rails, frames, machine guards and access work to client drawing.
Steel furniture, retail fixtures and the architectural-metalwork end of the fab world.
CAD drawings, a sketch on a fag packet, or a measurement off a site visit. Whatever the project starts from, we will work with it.
Yes. A sketch or a site visit is fine for most one-off jobs. For anything load-bearing we will recommend a structural engineer review the design before we weld it up.
Yes. Most one-off fabrications are made in the workshop and fitted on site. The mobile kit means we can finish on site if a tweak is needed once everything is in place.
A small bracket or hand-rail can be a same-day or next-day turnaround once the steel is in. Larger fabrications run on a week-or-two basis depending on the workshop queue.
MMA Welding covers the M25 and Medway area day-to-day, and travels right across the South — Kent, Sussex, Surrey, Essex, Hampshire and the wider Home Counties, anywhere within around 100 miles of Gravesend.
Drop a quick message with what needs welding, where it is and a photo if you have one. Michael will come back the same day.
